Laura Addabbo

BA Psych (Hons), Grad Dip Disability Studies, MAPS

Laura has been a registered Psychologist for over 22 years, working exclusively with Autistic individuals for the past 20 years. She has liaised with staff from various educational settings (Primary through to University) and worked with people of all ages across the spectrum of Autism.  In recent years Laura has developed a particular interest in supporting teens/young adults with Autism who are in tertiary/employment settings, as well as older adults and their partners.  She regularly provides relationship and marital support. Laura also particularly enjoys presenting at conferences and seminars, and conducting staff training. Laura also has a special interest in the unique attribute of Autistic girls and women.

Laura provides the following services at The ASD Clinic:

  • Practical behavioural support
  • Parent counselling
  • Sibling counselling
  • Marital/relationship counselling
  • Anxiety management
  • Supporting individuals in understanding and accepting their diagnosis
  • Late identified Autistic adults
  • Support for female and non-binary Autists
  • Staff training

Laura is currently providing telehealth appointments only. She consults on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
