Laura Addabbo
Laura Addabbo is a Psychologist specialising in Autism Spectrum Disorder. Early in her career Laura was trained in behavioural therapy, working with children as young as two, in their own homes on one-one teaching programs. These programs covered a range of skills including behaviour, communication, socialisation and daily-living skills. Laura has worked across a range of settings, including clinics, agencies and private homes. She has liaised with Kindergartens, Primary and Secondary Schools and adult support agencies
Laura has been working with people with Autism Spectrum Disorder for over 10 years. Her clientele is a mix of ages and diagnoses, ranging from the severely disabled to the very high functioning. In addition, Laura regularly presents at conferences and information evenings, most commonly on the topics of Behaviour Management and Anxiety. Her areas of interest include relationship counselling for adults with Asperger's Syndrome and their partners, stress/anger management, behaviour management, parent support, sibling support and school liaison.
